Yoast and Rank Math focus mainly on on-page SEO and meta tags. Myth SEO bundles on-page SEO with rank tracking, AI content writing, AI image generation, image optimization and competitor monitoring — features that normally require three or four separate plugins. The Pro plan is also significantly cheaper than Yoast Premium or Rank Math Pro.
Does Myth SEO replace Yoast or Rank Math?
No — Myth SEO is designed to work alongside them. If you already use Yoast or Rank Math, you can keep them. Myth SEO adds tools they don’t have (rank tracking, AI content, image optimization) without conflicting with what they do.
What’s included in the free Lite plan?

How do I get the Lite plan?

Can I upgrade from Lite to Pro later?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from the client area. Your license key stays the same and any tracked keywords or audits are preserved.
What are AI tokens and how do they work?
The Pro and Premium plans include monthly allowances for AI generations — meta descriptions, alt text, blog posts and featured images. Each plan resets at the start of every billing cycle. Pro includes 100 text generations and 20 image generations per month; Premium includes 500 text and 100 image generations.
Does it work on a multisite WordPress install?
Yes — but only the Premium plan includes multisite support. On Lite and Pro the plugin only manages the single site the license is locked to.
How does image optimization work?
The plugin runs entirely on your own server using GD or Imagick. It compresses JPEGs and PNGs, generates WebP companions for modern browsers, and can resize oversized uploads automatically. Nothing is sent to a third-party service.
