iWebVault’s billing setup is straightforward but worth understanding in advance — particularly if you’re using crypto payment for the first time, planning a long-term renewal, or thinking about cancellation. This guide covers the practical mechanics of payment, renewal, and cancellation so you don’t run into surprises.
Accepted payment methods
- Cryptocurrency via Cryptomus. All popular crypto accepted — Bitcoin, USDT (TRC20 and ERC20), Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, BNB, and others. Anonymous, no KYC, no chargeback risk.
- Credit and debit cards. Standard cards through our processor. Convenient for renewals, but creates a payment trail tied to your name.
For most privacy-conscious customers, the choice between these is about trade-offs — crypto offers genuine anonymity at the cost of slightly more setup; cards are convenient at the cost of a payment record. Mix as appropriate — pay your initial signup with crypto and your renewals with the same crypto wallet, or use cards once you’ve decided trust is established.

How invoicing and renewal work
iWebVault services renew on a fixed cycle — monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, biennially, or triennially, depending on what you picked at signup. The cycle determines:
- How often you’re billed (e.g. monthly invoice every 30 days).
- The per-cycle price (longer cycles get discounted rates — annual is typically 10-20% cheaper than monthly).
- The renewal date for each invoice cycle.
Invoice timeline
- 14 days before due date: first invoice generated and emailed.
- 3 days before due date: reminder email if unpaid.
- On due date: service expected to be paid.
- Day 1-7 overdue: reminder emails continue. Service still active.
- Day 7-14 overdue: late-payment warnings. Service may be suspended at our discretion.
- Day 14+ overdue: service typically suspended.
- Day 30+ overdue: service may be terminated with data deletion.
Real-world: pay invoices within a week of due date and you’ll never see any suspension. Crypto payments take 10-30 minutes to confirm; build that into your renewal timing.
Paying an invoice
- Log into your client area.
- Click Billing → My Invoices.
- Open the unpaid invoice. Click Pay Now.
- Choose your payment method.
- For crypto: select your preferred coin from the Cryptomus dropdown. You’ll see the exact amount in that crypto, plus a wallet address (and QR code). Send the exact amount from your wallet. Wait for confirmations (Bitcoin ~30 min, others ~10 min).
- For cards: enter card details. Authorization is instant.
- Invoice is marked paid automatically once payment confirms.
A receipt is emailed automatically. You can also re-download any past invoice from Billing → My Invoices → View → PDF download.
Setting up auto-renewal
For cards, you can save the payment method and enable auto-renewal:
- Client area → Billing → Manage Credit Card. Save your card details.
- For each service, Services → My Products & Services → click the service → enable Auto-renew.
Crypto doesn’t auto-renew — by design, since wallets are not stored. Set a calendar reminder a few days before each renewal to send payment manually.
Switching payment methods
You can change the payment method per invoice — pay one invoice with crypto, the next with cards. The choice is made at the time of payment, not locked in advance.
If you want to remove a saved card: Billing → Manage Credit Card → Remove. Once removed, the next invoice requires fresh payment selection.
Cancelling a service
iWebVault doesn’t auto-charge if you cancel — services that aren’t paid simply expire at the end of the current billing cycle, with no further invoices generated. Two ways to cancel:
Method 1 — Immediate cancellation request
- Client area → Services → My Products & Services.
- Click the service you want to cancel → Request Cancellation.
- Choose cancellation type:
- End of billing period — service stays active until current invoice’s period ends. You’ve already paid for that time; you keep using it.
- Immediate — service terminates now. Data deletion follows our retention policy.
- Enter a brief reason (helpful for our records — strictly optional content).
- Submit.
Method 2 — Just don’t pay
If you want to passively stop, just don’t pay the next invoice. After the overdue process plays out, the service terminates without you needing to do anything else. Not the cleanest option (you’ll get reminder emails), but it works.
Before you cancel — get your data out
Once cancellation processes, your data is deleted per our retention policy. Before clicking cancel:
- Download a full account backup. cPanel: Files → Backup → Generate/Download a Full Backup. Save it locally.
- Export your email if you want to retain it. See our archiving guide for the Thunderbird .mbox export.
- Export your database via phpMyAdmin if you want raw SQL data.
- Save your DNS zone — useful if you’re moving the domain elsewhere.
15-30 minutes of data export now saves a much harder reconstruction later.
What happens after cancellation
- End-of-period cancellation: service stays usable until the period ends. Your client area shows the service status as “Cancellation Pending”. At period end, status changes to “Cancelled” and data deletion begins.
- Immediate cancellation: service deactivates within hours. Data deletion follows.
- Reactivation within a short window after cancellation may be possible if you change your mind — open a ticket as soon as possible.
- After data deletion: recovery is not possible. We don’t keep long-term backups of cancelled accounts.
Common billing questions
Can I get a refund? See our refund policy in the Terms of Service. Short version: prorated refund within the initial money-back window for first-time signups; pro-rated credit for downgrades; no refund after cancellation processes.
Crypto payment sent but invoice not marked paid. Crypto confirmations take time. Bitcoin needs 1-3 confirmations (~30 minutes); other coins faster. If 90 minutes pass without your payment registering, send the transaction ID via ticket for manual matching.
Sent wrong amount. Crypto payments are based on the exact amount shown. If you sent less, the invoice doesn’t auto-clear. Open a ticket — we can manually credit the partial amount and reissue a top-up invoice.
Want to consolidate multiple invoices into one payment. Client area → Billing → Mass Pay. Select multiple invoices and pay them together.
Currency mismatch. All iWebVault invoices are in USD. Cryptomus converts at current rates; cards convert via your bank’s FX rate. Both are competitive.
